Time to crack open the Prosecco and party! Alliance Alternative Healthcare have officially removed their ads in my local shopping centre, next to the kids rides. They have been gone for weeks but I checked the shopping centre today and there wasn't a leaflet or poster in sight.
At least their preying on parents to view homeopathy as 'effective' for acute conditions such as 'glue ear' is at an end for now. The Advertising Standards Authority seems to have honoured its message in response to my report, preventing homeopaths from claiming to cure specific, acute conditions.
Of course, AAH continues to make absurd and dangerous claims on its website.
If you suffer from an acute illness like flu, cold, fever, cough, etc and would like to try a natural solution rather than an antibiotic or pain-killers we would love you to come to our clinic and see how we can help.
They continue to encourage people with acute conditions to use "bioenergy healing" and homeopathy! In what world is this allowable?
Watch this space for further developments.
